The title is thanks to my mom who suggested it.

We went on an overnight camping trip this weekend with our church group. What fun what fun!! The boys had more fun than ever and E spent all his time in the woods with his flashlight. M and I finally perfected our evening tent preparations and got some sleep.(MANY MANY soothers at the ready to plug A when he wakes up and a flashlight hidden under my pillow to turn on when E wakes up and says that it's too dark.) We had great weather and great company.

Who Needs Nghbrhd Watch?-Not Me!!

I spent my day well protected by these two fellows. We certainly do get a lot of attention as we move about the city.


Also, I was lucky enough to spend a couple of hours with all of the boys in the family. They were a lot of fun.

(Kinda) Funny Story

So as we all know I work for two little men full-time at home. Or at least that's what these two think.

E was playing with his toy in the backyard this evening and a piece of it got lost under the deck. I had to do a rescue mission with a head flashlight(thanks Nana) and a long stick. For just a second I was a hero.

Anyway, moments later in the basement E misplaced the same piece downstairs. So E said, "mommy can you find it..." While he jumped up on the couch to watch a Brnstn Bear show.

So I said, "Well E it's your toy, whose responsibility is it to keep the pieces together?"

He responded by saying, "Well it's my responsibility but you're my looker. You can find it."

Hmm.........superhero or superchump??

A's Bday

As is typical the second child gets the short end of the stick. E had his bday blog on his bday and A has his the day after his bday. Poor little guy.

E's B-day

It's E's Bday today.

He had his party on the weekend past.

E really likes his new Spdrmn web machine. We weren't expecting it to be quite so powerful a spray and he surprised us and himself when it went off the first time. The video is below along with a pic of me after the attack.

Where to Start

I didn't know whether to post our camping pics first or our bday party pics first. I've decided that the camping will come first and the boys bday pics will be posted on their actual bday.

We had great weather for our inaugral 2007 camping trip. We absolutely have two camping boys on our hands. When we started to pack up A said, "No, no home."

This is the van all packed up and ready to go. E used the hand pump to blow up this air mattress all by himself.....he's got stamina.

The beach at the campground was a huge draw for the boys(I made the castle on the left).

E and daddy did some fishing. E saw a Crius Grge cartoon where the monkey brought an umbrella to the beach....so....he had to bring his umbrella(and of course his puppy Becky) everywhere he went.

Busy Busy

So little time has gone by since the last post but so much action here at the house.

Basically we have been playing NON-STOP. The boys are really enjoying playing in the backyard and coming in and out of the house as they please. Because the yard is fenced they have a lot of freedom to do as they please.

This morning we went to the Exprmntal Farm in anticipation of the rain that was supposed to come in the afternoon. They had a blast! Sorry no pics of A's face but he's constantly going in any direction other than towards me. We were there for just over three hours and still had to convince the kids to leave as they wanted to have just one more play at the park and spend just one more minute with the cows........we'd still be there if they had their way.

Tomorrow we are going for an overnight camping trip and then it's back on Sunday for the boys bday party. See everybody there.

It always comes back to a cardboard box

Well E has been having a great time this afternoon with a cardboard box that we modified to be a garage.

And last night we had 5 here in the house. Baby K's mommy and daddy had tickets to Game 4 so they let us have the girl for the night. The boys had great fun playing with her but come bedtime A wanted this interloper OFF his mommy. There's sharing and then there's sharing!

P.S. If you happen to see my youngest walking around in a pair of decrepit old shoes please know that I have tried numerous times to get him a new pair(I have in fact already purchased two pair that were rejected). He is adamant that he wear exactly that pair of shoes. Even a pair of identical, but new, shoes were rejected today at the store. Oh well, I guess I'll just wait until they fall off his feet.
