Pumpkin Carving
WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!!!!
These pictures are specific to A as he was perfectly cute. E was not as interested in the pumpkins because he had Grandad's undivided attention and got him to build a train track for him upstairs in the livingroom.
Make sure to check out the picture below of my superheroes who keep me safe from harm. A has since gotten into the act as well and has taken to wearing his Spdrmn shirt all-day every-day as well. I guess that is what he will be for Tuesday since he still won't put on his HoneyPot Costume without hysterics. They seem to have minds of their own these children of mine.
I have to say that E seems to have really matured in the last little while. All of a sudden he has developed some independence around the house with regards to amusing himself. It is nice in the a.m. as A and I like to lollygag in bed until eight. E now gets up on his own, comes in to say Good Morning and goes to get his toys and plays quietly in my room while filling me in with all that is new in the Islnd of Sodr(those of you familiar with Thms know what that is.) He is really improving with his sharing and including A in his games. It's great........
Anyway, enjoy the pictures.

Safe House
A girl can really feel safe in this house!!!
P.S. Believe it or not M answered the door in this outfit when our neighbour came by to drop off a power washer we borrowed (thanks M and B and their little guy E). They will absolutely be invited over to play in the garage when I have the winter-escape playland set up inside.

Spdrmn
E has developed QUITE an interest in Spdrmn after playing dress up with his friend A during a playdate. I have since found(at kid garage sales) two of the costumes for the house here and also a Batmn one that I'll get a picture of later. He runs around the basement in his outfit and we play the theme song over and over and over........and over and over and over...you get the idea...

Hngry Hppo
I couldn't resist I had to put in a picture of the boys playing Hngry Hppo.
Take time today to scroll down as I have added several new posts this weekend.
P.S. I think I have figured out how to get the pictures from my email to here and have posted a picture of my sister's new little guy. He was born Wednesday morning and is dashingly cute.
Enjoy
A Perfect Weekend
Ever have one of those weekends where everything goes nicely.
Saturday we went to a garage sale for kid stuff with Baby K's parents. Then we stopped by G2K's for a morning visit. Then home for a nap( a glorious nap). Then we played outside and worked in the garage, went for a wagon ride outside. Then yummy meatpie for dinner and a play downstairs.
We went to church this a.m. and then to pick pumpkins. Then we went home and relaxed(A and I went to the Dr., he has an ear infection). Before dinner we played Hngry Hppo at the kitchen table and then ate my home-made pizza(with whole wheat crust!!!)
M is up cleaning E and A and then we are going to watch a movie. A wonderful weekend. Wonderful wonderful...
Never say never---the van
That's right....we have a van. M and I went and test-drove a couple last weekend and decided to take the plunge....or as I like to say...sell my soul for more kid room. I'm sure you have all heard me say at some point that I would NEVER EVER drive a van. Well......hmmm....I lied. And.....I like to drive it......I have no dignity!
Baby K
Well, I have received permission from Baby K's mommy to put photos of her on our website. She came over for a playdate with the boys last week and a good time was had by all. I think we wore her out though as her mommy said she slept a lot that afternoon. The boys were very interested in her but also very gentle.
It was interesting also to see how my time would be divided if, say, for example, we were ever to have a third baby. Let's just say I would not be sweeping the kitchen floor after every snack.

Ramblings
So no pictures will be included this time...just the ramblings of me. What makes me think that taking two boys to the mall will be a fun time for everybody? Oh sure, they were fun in the Tggywnkls store playing with trains and they were fun in the Dsny store looking at toys. But were they fun at 0ld Nvy while I tried to find long sleeve shirts for the fall/winter season?---NO Were they fun at the food court while we tried to enjoy sharing(HA!!) a strawberry ygn frz?---NO
Now I know that Grandad would tell me that I should know better for taking two young boys to the mall shopping as boys don't do shopping and I know Granny says they were little angels, but really she has to say that doesn't she??
All I know is that it took me ten minutes to buy five shirts and even that would not have been possible without the supervisory assistance of both Granny AND Grandma Drdre. I also know that Nnny 911 would not have been impressed with the food court debacle that saw yogurt being everywhere, a time-out for one little angel, me dodging a flying cup, a spoon and a yogurt bowl and several tsk-tsk looks from people who obviously were there without children.
On another and possibly related note, I also noticed that all the other mothers who were at the mall with two children never let them out of their strollers......a strategy perhaps??????

Thanksgiving Weekend
Well, we had such a busy and fun weekend that I didn't have time to take any pictures. However, M took these after church on Sunday while I was in the kitchen cooking. The boys were playing with some styrofoam we had in the garage ready for garbage day. If you've ever wondered what happens when you scratch styrofoam now you have your answer!!!!!

Danger Danger
So I'm sure you've all heard me tell stories of how A defies safety at every turn. That he can't be trusted for a second in any environment as he will find a way to climb something or leap off something. Well this is a case in point. What these pictures show is a game he thought of all by himself while I was watching E play in the same room.

Puddle Jumping
Well it rained here and we decided to take the kids to the park to puddle jump. E had a BLAST as you can see in the photos. He loves to splash!!!
A was not as sure and when he finally did attempt to move he tripped over his boots and because he wouldn't let go of his crackers(one in each hand) he fell on his face getting a fat lip and bleeding all over his cute green jacket. Better luck next rain.
