E's Concert

The kids tried out some new plates they just got...E liked that he could put cereal in one area and bread in the other.

Just a silly pic of E with a little fishy on his face.

Me.......holding a baby....while the kids were swimming.
Time for a break from swimming.

Great Stuff

Look at that beautiful big sky.....this was taken down near my hometown.
And this is my bestest foreverest friend.
My hometown.
The house I grew up in.
Here's some family I haven't seen in a long time!
My cuties with the cowboy hats I brought home for them.
Quiet time with Grampy.
Down feeding the ducks and fish.
We have been talking about our commitments for next year. I put all the options up on the board so we can all think about them. We will have a family meeting about them later this week. We need to trim the list!!

War Declared

So, just before J departed for her holiday, we suspected the presence of a mouse. The other morning (and later that night) there was some noise in the wall of my bedroom and it was loud enough to wake me both times. Intel reporting (internet research) assessed that it was likely a house mouse causing the disturbance. I determined that such an infiltration, if confirmed, would pose a cleer and presnt dangr to the safety and security of the Candian delegation to DC. Spec Frces (mouse trps) were deployed to conduct special reconasance and, if required, the use of deadlly force was authorized.

Here is a copy of the first Intel Reprt sent back to HQ.

Bfoot Boy Adventures

Sooooo....we went to a beach in Maryland today to look for shrks teeth. We had to drive an hour to get there, hike 20 mins on a trail and then hit the beach. On the path, we found the fireplace and foundation to an old home. Look at those handsome gentlmn.

Pics of the beach.

Some flowers on the shore.

Here's A. GPeter hung the cooler, just in case. ;)

Here's E, desperately attempting to catch a fsh with a butrfly net. Something tried to steal his shoes when he wasn't looking. Just kdng, I put it on his shoe, it was dead.

We were successful. Thank goodness I took the strainer fro the kitchn. The pasta mnight taste a little funny...hehe.

After a nap and some incredible chicken wraps for dinner, we put to the water and went for a night cruz. Two kids with wooden boats below.
Our headlight burnt out, so E and A are in the cabin handing me tools to change the light while underway (I'm on the bow). What a crew!
Kids enjoying the ride.

Tomorrow will be 102 deg F. So we'll see what unfolds. All that is planned right now is ice cream. Hope you all have a good weekend.

Well, Mom is away and its just the boys (incl Grmpy Peter). So, the blog posts have been lacking. Sorry. Anyway, the boys tested and have now been promoted to blu belt. They both did extremely well during their test, which included sparring. Here are some pics.

Why We're Always Late

We left the house this a.m. to head to church....we had intentions of arriving on time.
It's hard to see in this photo but we saw a cardinal.
And a plum tree.
And a cicada. There was no way we could have gotten there on time.
