Baptized

It was A who took the dunk first today.

Followed by his brother.

And lastly M.

All the boys in this house were baptized today.

And we love a reason to celebrate.
So it was back to the house after church for pizza and cake.

Look at those cute faces!
And before everyone got back to their weekends .... we took a great group shot.
Thanks for sharing this day with us.

Indoor Games

More cold weather= More Games
I'm guessing he's a ....... frozen statue.
First word ..... Spring??
When M came home he got into the fun too.
Just as soon as the weather gets warm we'll be outside for sure.

Museum Visit

Having finished the WW1 portion of our current unit we decided to take a field trip to the Aviation Museum for the afternoon. Approaching it with the utmost of seriousness as always.
Being March Break there were a couple of extra demonstrations going on.

Sweet smile E.
I'm not sure why exactly but A made this face pretty much every time he got in one of the planes.
Is that what he thinks pilots look like when they're flying planes?
It sure is a different experience taking the kids to museums now that they're bigger!!

Just for a little flash-back fun.
(For more 'back in the day' museum pictures search 'museum' in the upper left corner of the blog.)

Fun, Funner, Funnest

The goal on a school day is to get the work done as soon as humanly possible so they can get back to doing what they like best. Hanging out.
Sunday night is always 'funner' when we can share it with a group from our church.

You know what else is fun?
Playing board games ... like we did tonight. And finally ... for the first time .... I won at Catan!

Busy Tuesday

Thanks to the parent who organized the laser lesson and game time yesterday.
The kids had a great time.
I was caught taking A's picture while he checked his scores.

I have to stand a little further back to catch this one in his natural environment.
He doesn't like it when he looks up and sees me there with a camera.

And to end the evening we were treated to a dance performance.

The two LetterA cousins have been taking an urban dance class together.

It was so fun to see them let loose with their new moves.

Skating Fam

What do you do when you hear someone has had a good idea??
You join in.
Grandad suggested we take advantage of the good weather and let E challenge the 7.8km skate from Dow's Lake to downtown.
A quick photo-op and they were off.

Myself and A were not ready to take on that kind of distance so we took a short cut via car to downtown and jumped on the canal there.
(Thanks for the help with the bag Granny.)

The first group moved at lightning fast speed.
We were still putting on our skates when they texted that they were over half way.
We met close to downtown and did the last bit of the route together.
Next time we'll skate at Dow's Lake and they can skate downtown and back!

One of the best things about skating the canal?
The Beavertails!

Mmmm......sugary goodness.
Super idea Grandad.
E's first end to end skate and I got on my skates for the first time this year.
Great day.
And the fun just keeps on keeping on.
