In The Outdoor Woods

Well I tried. We are up at camp. And I have cool pics of the kids to post but the connection won't stay connected enough to do the job. Sorry. As soon as I can I will upload some pics.

Sum Up

The flight wasn't long.

The night we got in we went to a bday party at my sis' for her oldest.

Today....park day. Wow what a park. And we had Timmies. yahoo.

Wait For It

I left my camera cord at the place where I'm not. I will grab it today to upload some pics. But this is them this a.m.

Project

As our pets the guinea pigs have started to grow we have been looking for a bigger cage (about 8 square feet). We found some new on-line and they cost about $130. One on Crgslist was available for $60 but it was quite some way out of town. Surely, we thought, it can't be that hard to make a cage! So off to the lumber store. We bought $30 of materials and reused an old table. Voila. Exactly what we wanted and 8 square feet. (The guinea pigs gained about 3.5 sq. ft. of play room.)

Materials Used: Peel and Stick tile on the table surface. Shelving wire on the sides and a rubber runner to keep the floor tidy underneath. A couple of c-brackets and some zip cords.

Fabulous

We did a couple of chores and then went to see the NationlCathedrl. This was my first visit.

Ern told the kids about lighting candles and they both tried it.

It rained off and on but we missed most of it. By the time we got back to the car A was tired. E tucked these little animals in with him while he was sleeping.

Downtown and Down the Hatch

Yesterday we went downtown and enjoyed some of the museums and outside gardens.

Today, OlivGardn for lunch.

Roll With It

We started our day with plans to travel by boat to an outing.....but the boat is still having some technical trouble.

So we rolled with it and decided to try a waterpark.

The Fight Is On

The boys decided to challenge AuntieErn to a fight. There was only one left standing in the end.

Ain't No Sunshine When You're Gone

With Ern here I had someone to encourage me to treat myself....so we went for a pedicure today. This was the first pedicure I have ever had. And E was excited to finally eat one of the carrots that he has been growing in our garden.

It has been far too long since we were out on the boat....eleven days to be exact. We have a new battery now so we should be back out on the water again.

On the way back to the house we had the great fortune of the underground sprinklers coming on. No need for a bath tonight :-)

Nice Day

Nice day. The boys had VBS today. Then we had a playdate with some friends here at the house for 1.5 hours. Then, they played in the sprinkler for a while. And after dinner we went our for ice cream. This was a great day.

Right at the end of the night the boys had a race on the way home. Normally E lets A win. But not tonight and that didn't go over well.
