Dirty Deed

We had to do the deed today. We took Grmpy to the airport.

A is never happy when people leave. I made him fake it for the second photo.

Big Weekend

I gave A the camera in church so he could take pics of E in a church play. He forgot to take the pics.

However, he did remember to take pics of himself making funny faces.

And as part of our China Unit we decided to make paper. Quite the process!!

Quite the mess.

We learned words like 'slurry' and 'pulp'.

And the boys surprised me tonight with an early bday party. (Yup, that's red velvet cake.)

And the boys made me cards.

Grampy took the boys over to the waterfront to have their portrait drawn for me. Aren't they cuties?!

And here's me using my new present from my dear hubby....a KINDLE. AAAAAAHHHHHH!

Irish Fighting

Before the tournament today we went downtown to see the parade. They had old cars.

And a horse drawn carriage.

Then we settled in early to a spot on the curb.

The bands are my favourite.

Though the marching is pretty cool too.

And Irish dancers of course.

This was hilarious. They marched this 'enemy' all the way down KngSt.

I can't remember the last time I saw these little cars.

And then it was on to the tournament.

A went first in his division.

He didn't win first....or second....but he did well. Here he is with his friend comparing trophies.

And then E was up.

He didn't win first....he didn't win second....but he improved from his last tournament.

Game Boys

These kids love to play games of all kinds. Here's a game of Uno.

We had a couple of quieter days while E was suffering with his cold. Nothing like a head massage to soothe the pain.

Yesterday he was feeling well enough to go skating.

And M had the day off so he joined us.

Here the big boys are teaching A how to push with his skates.

Here's E taking a break with his friend H.

Whew....lots of fun.

Baby Boy No More

It started off as an ordinary evening.

Daddy tried it. He said he couldn't do it because his fingers were too big, but I think the problem was his heart is too big. He handed over the job to the mean one...me.

No problem here getting the job done.
