14!!

As soon as I saw him I could see that he was strong and perfectly himself.

He's been the source of much joy.

And now, he's 14!!

Now Soccer

Here's something new for us. 'A' joined the local soccer team.

Tonight was his first game and you'll never believe whose team they were playing .... 

his cousin's!!

I'll just take this moment to say how happy I am that we aren't moving this summer.
There's A with a teammate (a good friend) and his dad as coach (and also A's school counselor next year), being assisted in coaching but none other than .... E.
There's also three kids from hockey last year and a bunch of other kids he knows from the neighbourhood. Sticking around the same place has its benefits.

He's been 100% himself since day one.

 He's the strongest person I've ever met. 

And now .... he's 16.

Spring2019

With help from the boys and a lot(!!) of gardening guidance from Heather it was two days work.

This space was created when one of the many too many trees came down.

Spring??

Although the weather isn't acting like it's Spring....

E is playing a Spring sport ....

A's school work is showing the Spring Homeschool Slow down ....

... and there were even a few tulips at the Lake.

What They're Up To

E and his friends had a great visit to Stratford.

They saw 3 shows in two days and had a ton of fun.

And....it's race weekend.

Adm and D ran the 5km. 

Andrw ran the 10km.

Way to go Adm.

Lesson Learned

M took the opportunity of my needing new tires to teach the boys how to change them.

The boy's bathroom was in need of an upgrade.... a new look.

Friday night we hit the road to KTown.

UncleJ came down from his town and the boat went in the water.

The Week

Enjoyed the butterfly exhibit this week at the Museum of Nature 

And, at Adm's request .... perogie making.

Saturday
Mulch those 4 trees we took down.

Sunday
Lay the new floor and put the bathroom back together. 

Still some more work to do but it's getting there. 

Monday

It takes a lot of elbow grease to shine the boat.

All in all, a successful, productive weekend.
