Catch Up

The boys, particularly A, have been playing lightsbrs with GrandmaDrdre A LOT. I don't have the patience for the long drawn out battles but she plays great with them.


We sprung E from school early today and took a road trip up to Baltimre to see the aquarium.

We saw the new dolphin show and then A tried out a dolphin mask. (Check out the guy next to E..he's asleep!!!)

Then across for dinner before heading home. This is E and GrndmDrdre doing their 'secret handshake'.

Ready-Set-Weekend

After practice on Fri. E had a game on Sat. He is a great defence player.

A loves to play on the sidelines. Then after soccer the kids had TaeKwnDo.

If that wasn't enough then after we had a chance to cool down(it's 28degrees) we went across the street to the park for a playdate with some kids from school.

This a.m. we went down to watch our super amazing friend cross the finish line after running 10 miles(that's 16km!). She's amazing. One hour thirty five minutes.

Then back to the soccer field for another game. I'm not sure what we're up to tonight but if it's fun I'll take pics.

Bday Fun

Today was an action packed day. I got to volunteer in E's classroom today. Then the bday girl/A/and I went on a bike ride(6 miles). After lunch we had a superfast rest then off to get E from school. An early dinner at OlveGardn(yummy yum) and then off to E's soccer practice. Then....back to the house for bday cake and bath. Whew....I'm tuckered out just remembering the day.

P.S. The cake that I made for GrndmDerdre's birthday was a recipe I found on-line for lemon angel food cake with fruit topping. Each slice has a 2 point score on WeightWatchrs so if anyone you know wants to eat cake but not blow their diet let me know and I'll pass on the recipe.

A's Turn

Last week E's school had an open house. This week it was A's. Here are the pics from the night. They had so much fun and when they got home it was straight to bed for a GrndmDeidre cuddle.

P.S. In case you're wondering why there were no pics of E's open house.....it's because I fell asleep on the sofa after dinner and the three boys went without me. Oops.

Plans Awry

We had all kinds of plans.....and some worked. We made great earthday shirts....and visors. We watched an earth movie and talked about how we could save our environment. We had also planned a trip to the postalmusem to participate in a duck marsh stamp decorating contest....but when we got there it was already over. However....we can find fun ANYWHERE and we spent over two hours at the museum.

Saturday

The weather on Sat. was very pleasant. We had a play outside and a walk downtown.

There was also a soccer game today. The kid on the side was having just as much fun as the kid on the field.

More Yard Birds

Flashback

M and GrndmDrdre and I got sidetracked watching old videos tonight. This one is TOO much.

The schools are happy the weather is nicer and I was able to snap a couple pics of the kids at school.
