Well...Hello everyone! Are you ready for many ship pics? So the family and guest went to Ptriot's Point on Sun to see the retired aircraft carrier USS Yrktown and other ships. We also took a ferry out to see Fort Sumter, where the Civil War commenced.
WWII Class Balao Sub and E&A in the fwd torpedo room
Daddy explaining how magnetic mines work and E checking out the beds in the Torp Room
After the Sub, we went to Frt Sumter (Some of the wildlife on the way)
Some cannons and getting our "War Face" on
Lastly, we got to check out the USS Yrktown. What a tour! Here are some pics.
Look at these two Captains!
It was full speed ahead in the engine room! We also found a bmb, so we plugged our ears just in case.
It took awhile, but once we hit the galley, J knew what to do! She was a little overwhelmed by the recipe though :)
Here are all the ingredients required to make those 10,000 choc chp cookies, but with a crew of 3,500 that was just under three cookies per crew member. J better double the recipe ;)
We had fun, but what a busy day!!!
