Tonight was the first part of their TKD tournament. They did weapons competition tonight. I was nervous for them before they went up but they weren't.
This is A after getting his medal.
And this is E when he received his GOLD medal. That's right GOLD.
I am so freakin' proud of my kids.....not just because A, at almost five years old, stood in front of a whole crowd of people and performed, and not just because E's extra practices paid off and he won the gold medal...but because they said 'good job' to every other competitor they saw....and because E NEVER mentioned his gold medal because he didn't want to hurt anyone else's feelings.....and because they both went out of their way to make other competitors feel better when they were sad......
Their favourite part of the night was watching the black belts compete. WOW!!!
The black belts were nice enough to get a group pic.
And did I mention that they are smart too!?!?!?!?!
