My Tom
Can you hear the Mission Impossible theme music in the background?
Doo dee doo....doo dee doo......Duh Nuh.
The ropes bring you down slow ... but when you're not that far from the ground you can just jump!

Cute Faces
Lucky me, I found an after-school skate time for myself and the boys today.
'A' asked for my camera during our lessons.
This is what was staring across at him while he worked.

Monday
'A' had a little help from a friend to run our sample election today. They did a great job of managing the electors and the ballots.
And they still had time to get a little exercise in.
Such bravery!

Schedule
One of the things A likes about home schooling alone this year is being in charge of the schedule.
Based on what I've planned to cover that day I place the cards on the board.
And he decides what order we do them in ... and where the break period goes.
E had a PD Day last Friday so he and A spent some time in Almonte.
And that almost always means road hockey!

Ball Boy
Looking at the camera this morning I was reminded why I don't like pictures of myself.
In the moment a picture is taken I imagine myself looking calm, composed and adorable ....
.... much like Charlie is here.
And then when I look at the pictures after .....
I resemble more closely a gremlin.
Great job Charlie .... keep your eye on the ball.

Busy Day
I've skated more this month than I usually do in a year.
Thanks A for getting me out on the ice.
Today was our time on the library's 3D printer.
We had a file ready to go so it didn't take long for the creation to start taking shape.
And by not long I mean .... 1 hour 55 minutes and 30 seconds.
That's all it took to create this great 3D pig.
Here's some snippets of the process.

Seasonal Clock
This picture of the puppies cracks me up.
There won't be many days left like this ... where the weather draws the kids outside.

Game Day
A certain cousin was playing in a soccer tournament today and we got to watch him do his thing.
Two goals in one game.
Then we were off to A's hockey practice/game.
Then we were off to A's hockey practice/game.
I can't figure out if the boy thinks he's a puppy .....
... or the puppy thinks he's a boy.
