Here's What's Up

My thanks to the boys for stepping in and finishing dinner for me the other day.
I was busy ripping up the front hall,
getting it ready for Grandad to come work some drywall magic this weekend.
Wait until you see what he's built, it's going to transform the space!!
Adm is still working away at school.
It's not warm enough to ditch school and hang outside yet.
Hubby and I enjoyed a night out painting with Jnn for her birthday.
Happy Bday Sis.

Wrap the Week

Thursday was a big day for Adm and Charlie.
Adm started archery lessons. Charlie met a horse.

We wanted to avoid the rain on Friday; off to the Museum.

Later that night Adm was at a friend's house so M&I enjoyed dinner with E.

But where's E in this pic?
Saturday's mathlete competition.

And right from there to baseball sort outs. (Didn't get a pic of E unfortunately.)
As soon as the ground is dry they'll take to the fields.

Whew, and the weekend isn't over it!

6 years, 2 months, 22 days

The year was 2010.
The boys were a young 5 and 7 years old.
The weather was brisk in the Other Nation's Capital Region when Grampy came to visit.
On a trip to the local Costco Grampy insisted that we pick up a box of plastic food wrap.
"But we'll never use that much plastic wrap," I said.
Well Grampy- 6 years, 2 months and 22 days later -we finished that box of plastic wrap.
This has moved with us from Virginia, to OTown, to TO and back to OTown.

And you know what I did last week?
Went and bought a new box from Costco!

A Good Visit

Well, after a good visit it's time to say goodbye again.
Ern was checking to see is Charlie would fit in her carry-on bag tomorrow.

Wednesday Update

Today was the last class of a three part Art co-op A had been doing.
Thanks Friend, for stepping in to substitute teach.

This silliness was NOT going on while Ern was teaching.
This isn't my E's favourite game but he humoured us by playing along.
And after a delicious meal I found this fortune in my cookie.
E received this yellow sheet from his math teacher.
And A was evaluated in his swimming class today. Looks like he's moving on up to the next level.

Still Chilly

As the boys get older it gets more and more difficult to blog about them.
Their interests are more specific and individual.
And the older one is not very interested in having his mom hanging around taking his picture.

With Erin in the house E has been getting some free drawing lessons.
And A is deep in reading mode. These are the books completed since Oct.1.
Maybe once the weather warms I can catch them outside with the camera.

Easter'16

Great idea for an Easter dinner activity, Grnny.

Great job boys. All the same subject but all uniquely different.
And though there are still a few piles of snow scattered about ...
the boys wouldn't be deterred from playing some road hockey.

Group Shot!
First a regular shot ... then a silly one.
I noticed as I was going through the pictures that A has quite a talent for pulling faces.

Fresh Air

March Break meant both boys, and the dog, skipped town on Thursday.

What's better than wide open spaces in the Spring ....
... and cuddles with pets on your down time?

Nothing.
