It's Raining Men

We went to a playdate today and the other incredibly lucky mom has four boys...add my two and that's a lot of boys.

Too Cool

E had his eye test today and they dilated his eyes so he got super cool sunglasses. A was not impressed that he had to get up so early....he didn't even make it out of his p.j.'s.

I got my camera out at TKD to catch them doing their green belt form.

Dumbarton House

The field trip was fun this morning. I loved looking at the house and the furniture during the tour.

The boys were less impressed with the house....but they liked the activity, writing with goose feather pens.

And they served tea with little cookies before we left.

Purer Heart or Politician

So here is what the kitchen backsplash area looked like when we moved in...and then we(thanks for the help Grampy) stripped the wallpaper.

And this is what it looks like now. I know this is a rental house but I spend a lot of time here and that other wallpaper was driving me to distraction. This new one is better.....not perfect(I would have preferred to tile it but the cost was prohibitive)...but better.

A was in the mood to have his pic taken before church so I snapped a few.

And after turning off my flash I snapped a couple in church too.

Funny Story: During child time at church the pastor held out a $50 bill and asked all the kids what they could do with that much money.

E said, "I would give some of the money to the people in Haiti and the rest of the money to poor people."

A said, "I would buy L_E_G_O and a wii game."

Kid Play and Parent Play

The kids were having fun at co-op today. A was playing soldier and E was in drama.

There was a little bit of hide and seek at recess time.

And then the grown ups went out to play. We went to the WestWing...oh ya.

The press room was pretty cool.

The seats are labeled so the press know where to sit.

Shots and Strikes

Yesterday the boys had to go and get their immunizations done. Youch! Nothing like a trip to the bowling alley to take your mind off the pain.

The Weekend in Review

Here we are on Sunday at our usual restaurant for lunch.

One of my big dreams for my kids is that they will grow to be men who love to read. So when I saw A sitting down by choice and looking at a book I had to take a pic. He was not impressed that I snuck up and took his picture though.

The weather was so nice today that we spent all afternoon outside...we even got the bikes out.
