Shake Your Money Maker

We went to a train show on Sndy with the kids. They had a new thing this time. A ride-on train from the 1930's. This guy had restored the cars and built a track and was, for a small fortune, letting the children have rides.

The best part of Christmas is playing all the new games.

There has been a lot of new L-E-G-O enter the house in the last couple of days....poor M has put in several hours of assembly time.

A loves this new game. I'm sure he'll love it even more when his brother can tear himself away from the L-E-G-O long enough to play with him.

Odds and Sods

This is a pic that A drew....I just like the look of his eyes peeking through the handle.

We have a very special guest for Christmas.......the boys are very happy to see her.

Hre Comes Snta Claus

The boys saw the big red guy today at the train show we went to.

And then this evening GrndmDrdre and GrndpTrry said they could open one of their presents. Umbrellas!! Yahoo....tomorrow they are calling for rain.

JngleBells

I have some video of E at his school sing-a-long but I'm not going to post it. He looks very unhappy in the video and then later in the day he puked at school. He doesn't appear to be sick, I think the excitement of the day was too much to handle. Later in the day he seemed much better.....and made himself a reindeer outfit(well I made the antlers and he made the nose).

Then my other cutie got in on the action as a reindeer....even his little puppy friend became a reindeer for a while. Mrry Christmas.

Chrstms Party

We were invited to a Chrstms party by M's boss on Saturday night. This is how the boys looked when we got home from the party. And these are the cookies we took with us.
Many of you who have visited probably noticed that a television wasn't easily available for watching. Well.....after much deliberation (and a gentle nudge from a recent guest) we have installed a new television in the main area of the house. Now we will be able to watch hockey games and movies with our guests.....yahoo.

Seriously Sweet

Music lessons are a MUST in this house. And A started his last week. He wants to learn the violin but he's still a bit small for that so we started him with piano. He, like E, must practice every day. E practices 12 minutes a day and A practices 6 minutes a day. So sweet. Here's a video of today's practice lesson.

And here is E's new violin I picked up yesterday. He has outgrown his 1/8 size and is now using a 1/4 size. We are saving the smaller one for A though.

The Parade

We attended the local Scttish parade this weekend. The music was a big hit with A......and all the different dog breeds had groups too.

This is the boys while unpacking some of the Chrstmas decorations. We are going to do some more unpacking this week and also put the tree up next weekend.
