I'm back. This time I'm going to chit chat a little bit about books first. I was thinking about them after Dena, those of you who don't know her, she is my mom's friend's mom, and she's awesome. She also makes amazing pie. Anyway, she said that when she was ten, she swore to read 5,000 books in her lifetime! That's not the craziest thing, she has already read 3,427 books! I have started documenting books that I have read on a website called Good Reads. I have only read 66 different books. But those are only books I remember reading and that isn't including how many times I've read them, I've read the Harry Potter series around 5 times. That's like 21,000 pages, I take a lot of pride in that. I know you guys are all wondering if I read Charlotte's Web, and I did. It really was a very good book and I enjoyed reading it. I was sad at the end, but I still enjoyed it.
This is an unrelated fact that I want to post. I got a hat trick! It was my first ever, but I've only played 1 year before this. Don't worry, there will be more hat tricks to come. I have now scored 10 goals in 7 games. YAY!
Okay, let's talk about Christmas. I am really excited because I get two Christmas dinners! I mean... spend time with two sides of the family. And that's not the only thing, I'm also going to Florida! That is why I'm getting two different dinners. One in Ottawa, the other in Florida. For the Florida dinner we are having alligator. Just kidding, I have to say that because with this family, you never know. For presents, I'm not really sure what I want. I haven't thought about it much. I will probably just end up asking for money. Christmas is my favorite holiday, followed by Thanksgiving, then my birthday. "How do I rank my holidays?" you ask. I mainly consider the amount and quality of the food I get at the family dinners, Christmas beats Thanksgiving because I also get gifts and the cookie exchange. Yes, I know, a very good rating plan.
That is all I have to say today.
The question of the blog is: What is your favorite holiday?
Hello everybody. It's Adam and I'll be doing a blog post every two weeks or so, as an alternative to a language program I didn't really enjoy, mostly, because I'm not a huge fan of writing. I will still read all the books from the program that I'm supposed to read, actually, I am looking forward to reading them because I do like reading.
My mom and I are arguing about whether or not I should read Charlotte's Web. I don't want to read it because it ends sadly, but my mom thinks I should because it's a "classic". Do you think I should read it?
Another thing that I would like to discuss is hockey (dramatic echo).
I can't wait until the family hockey pool, I'm just hoping that certain teams make it in to the playoffs (Chicago). Some teams are doing surprisingly well, like the Vegas Golden Knights and Toronto Maple Leafs. Some are doing badly, like the Chicago Black Hawks or the Edmonton Oilers.
I am in Peewee C, even though I'm definitely a B player. The reason I'm in C is that Gloucester doesn't have enough players for an A, B, and C team, they just have enough for an A and a C team. But, there isn't anything I can do about that. My team is doing extremely well, after 4 games we have 31 goals and only 8 goals against us! I have scored 3 goals so far, last year I had 5 in total. Sadly, we aren't ranked first even though our ratio is better. Blackburn has scored 20 goals and had 24 goals scored against them, however, they have played 2 more games than us, so even though we have the same amount of wins they have 1 more point than us so we are currently behind them.
That is all I have to say for today.
And the Question of the blog is: Should I read Charlotte's Web even though I don't want to?
