Seasons?

First we made a few phone calls. Next, we made a tally of the responses. Then we made the chart. Thanks for all your answers people. Today we took the small, sweatered dog for a walk. We did a little shopping. And then we grabbed a baguette on the way home and now we're having lunch. Yummy.

All Aboard

The B&O Museum in Baltimore is beautiful. Checking out one of the models.

They both say they want to be train engineers now.

We all remarked how BIG they are.

Wouldn't you feel like a princess riding in this?

Look at the funnel on this one.

The train managers would use this car to check on the tracks.

Super cool caboose.

End of Week Catch-Up

We attended a play put on by the third grade class of a friend of the boys.

He was a dwarf. Very cute.

We are still babysitting Tiny. The boys are still thinking they want a dog. We'll see.

And the TKD graduation was Friday night.

Both the boys earned their brown belts.
Good job guys.
Their friend K moved up to advanced brown belt. And her brother was there to watch.

School/Puppy

Working on our food chains.

Standing in front of our RECYCLE poem.
Here we're making bricks. Did you know there were more than 3.8 billion bricks in the GreatWallofChina?

This was on Tuesday. We had a little bit of time in the afternoon for a ride.

Good thing we got out Tuesday because the weather is blech today.
Today we had lunch with friends.

We are blessed with a puppy to babysit this week.

Meet Tiny. (He's an honorary Canadian for the week.)
The kids took Tiny for a walk after we got home from lunch.

Weekend Stuff

We bought a new-to-us game called 'Never Ending Stories'. So fun.

Saturday we were supposed to go to TKD. But the sun was shining, so we went to the park.

I brought my Kindl and supervised.
So pretty.

Yesterday we got the bikes out and started getting them ready for summer.

It's just like riding a bike....you don't forget.

Goin' to the Zoo Again-But This Time with Friends

First stop, the turtles on the island.

On map duty, A.

We had a little peek at the elephants.

The pandas were beautiful. And, they are from China (our current unit study topic).

A great pic of 4 of the 5 little ones
Here's a close-up of A.

And a close-up of E.

This is what A looks like from the lion's perspective.

And before leaving we went to their fave part-the gopher playground.

It was great to see the zoo with friends. Thanks for inviting us along.
