Study Up

So little time .... so much to study.
'A' made flashcards using his notes, then, as he went through them he'd hole punch the card when he got the questions correct.
(Super easy method for tracking which questions you've done/understood and which ones you need to do again.)
Studying with friends is fun too. Here they are trying to put the major History events on a timeline.
We did Pictionary with science terms (fulcrum, compound pulley, wedge, inclined plane, etc.) ........
and a T/F quiz.

I don't want to leave E out of the post.
There's not as many opportunities to snap his picture but I do what I can.
In my last post there was a picture of Charlie that seemed to give the impression he had grown a significant amount. Without anything in the photo with which to compare him I can see how that mistake could be made. So ..... here's the picture again with a point of reference.
Still small. Just how I like him.

First time for us .... lights on the house.
Thanks for putting them up boys.
Family Tradition - Christmas Decorating Night
Starting back in 2006, then 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011(not sure what happened this year-no pics!), 2012, 2013, and 2014.
All that work and a person (or a dog) needs a break.
Job complete. Well Done.
Little Bit of Monday in this post too.
A and I went with 65 other home-school parents and kids to the Mint today.
I absolutely recommend it if you've never been.
(Even if you can't find 65 home-schoolers to go with.)

A for Effort

Budgeting/building activity on Monday.
Each item used to build costs a certain amount of $$.
The challenge was to build the tallest building while still remaining on budget.
--Here's A when he completed his build ....
... then he saw the one his friend built.
 And here's his face after.
