Race Weekend

There were 8 runners in this year's Race Weekend.
It was a scorcher of a day and we were all overheated after the run/walk.
Nothing a dip in the city water fountain couldn't cure.

This guy ran with his cousinD and they posted a great time.
This guy .... wowed us all by pulling away from the pack and blasting to the front of our group.
Unfortunately that meant we didn't get many pics of him crossing the finish line.

Paint Day

Big hugs and thank yous to Granny for organizing and teaching a Paint Day for our friends.
Twelve painters from 3yrs-13yrs. And they were all patient and enthusiastic and supportive of each other's work. Great kids.
I love the way that each kid personalized their work.

Way to go kids.

The Post Where I Have Pics of E

Baseball season is upon us. Games on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
One practice each on Sunday.
It's a good thing I like the game because when games are 1h45min and your kid touches the ball once and bats once ... it can get long.

E joined us for an Art Gallery tour on Tuesday.
This was his favourite picture.
There was a clay workshop that A was doing while E and I toured.

And This Week....

Great start to the Co-Op activities on Egypt.
This guy was deep in character. And, still apparently wants a turtle.

We took Charlie to the farm for A's archery lesson.

The front hall reno progresses.
'A' tried a new activity today, Quidditch.
I wasn't sure exactly how it would work ..... but it was super cool.

This Week in Life...

The baseball season is upon us. Both E and A are playing (though not on the same team).
This means Mon.-Wed. nights, plus either Thurs. or Fri. nights, and always twice on Sundays .....
you'll find us at the fields.
I caught this guy getting ready for a practice ...
but then he caught me taking his picture and I had to take evasive maneuvers.

Grandad came to work on the front hall so the pups had a play time.
Here's A modeling some of the progress so far.
Speaking of A, he wants a turtle.
And so he keeps leaving pictures open on my computer for me to find.
So cute!!!
