Better

You know what's better than the zoo?
The zoo with friends.
See? Looks like more fun right?
It was a surprisingly quiet day at the zoo.
Probably because it was such a hot day the animals were feeling lazy.
Check out the long lashes on this girl.

Sat

Saturday was our last day with just the one. M grabbed him for a downtown day.
They had been waiting for a clear weather day to go to the CN Tower.
And though it goes up ... way ....way up.
'A' wasn't worried at all.

They had great fun. And we think, that they could see our apartment from there.
And after taking A out for the day, M took me out for the night.

I Can See Clearly Now

Any chance we get we're up the highway to visit the BognorBarefoots.
I like this picture of the three cousins. Although in it my two kids look way WAY big.
So big in fact that they can pick their cousin up.
We visited a great park and M got into a playground battle with the boys.

So fun to share park time with the little one.

Looks like we're finally getting to jump into summer!

Another First

The boys had a first experience.
Certainly not their first time playing the piano.

And not the first time they've played in the lobby.

It was the first time they were hired to play.
A lady who previously heard them playing in the lobby contacted us and asked if they would play for an hour this evening while her family/friends were arriving for a dinner party.
They continue to amaze me.

Between Rain Drops

I just love the zoo.

And with the weather being sunny but not hot ..... the animals were out and about.

And with the afternoon free today it was time for another bike ride.
We found an interesting place to ride off the roads ... but we paid for it when we had to walk the bikes back up the hill. Whew!

I love that E photobombed my picture of M.

We did get some school work done. E is learning averages right now.
I figured it would be more meaningful if we were averaging things that he cared about.
For example, how many bullets he can get in the cup each time it's fully loaded.
Or, how many times they can pass a ball back and forth without dropping it.

My Momhood

And so it began.

And again.

And they grew.
And grew.

And still on they grow.
