Another Weekend in the Boonies--Ahhh Life is Good

The boys love going in the water with daddy.
Here's just a cute pic of A playing on top of a bench------and some of the everybodies out on the floating dock.

This is the cake that J made for the party we had Sunday afternoon. And then a gratuitous pic of Baby A just 'cause it was sweet.

Lesson Learned

So I asked E yesterday how come he likes it at Granny's house more than at home and he said that Granny doesn't have to do any chores....she just plays. Normally I spend some time each day trying to keep on my household stuff. But today, no chores, I didn't even cook M dinner!

Paparazzi strikes!!!

I was finally able to get a pic of M in his summer uniform with his new rank. I took the pic as he was coming in the door and talking to A.

Also, the boys and I made a robot today.

We're Here

M as we went over Confdrtion Bridge.
A and E having brkfst at camp.
K at a park in Frdrctn.
The kids crossing the world's longest covered bridge.

We had a great trip out. Unfortunately we were rained out for camping on the way here and had to stay at a hotel(oh darn) but the day we arrived the weather was great and we set up camp. Wed the weather was beautiful and we spent the whole day at the park and the beach. Today(thurs) it's basically been raining all day but it was a good day to skip into town(Summerside) and get the groceries we need for the rest of the week. Here are some pics and a video of A doing his stand up routine in the van on the way here.

So Sweet. I set this camera up ahead of time to catch A during dinner prayers.

To translate:
E says: "Thank you for our chicken lovely. That went buck buck buck" (like a chicken)

A says: "Amen for Thomas, Percy and More Percys. Amen."

Since the boys spent the night at Grnny's M and I had the opportunity to go out to the property and get some uninterrupted work done. It's so exciting because even though we did get a lot done we also still have so much to look forward to accomplishing.......this is fun!!!!

Not to Be Overshadowed

Sometimes I think that my guy A seems a little overshadowed by my guy E.
E tends to get a little more of the limelight because he demands it....but there in his shadows is A. Understand that when I say in the shadows I mean only from E's perspective. As far as I'm concerned A is lit by a beautiful bright light from heaven. So here he is.........a post dedicated just to him

Back to the Boonies

Well this was the big weekend. We got possession of our property/trailer on Friday. M took the day off work and we had the trailer moved to the campground. The weather was not great but we still had fun.

Moving the trailer-------------------------------Building the fire pit

A at camp with Grandad----------------------------M and me

We went out to the property and dug a firepit and also got the kids trampoline set up. E has wanted a trampoline forever but we didn't have a big enough yard. Well now we do!! To all the grandparents.....thank you....as it's your money that purchased the trampoline. (When we get money for the kids and don't know what to do with it we put it in an account for the little guys.....this weekend we spent some of it and they LOVE the trampoline.)

E trying out the trampoline-----------------------the Groundbreaking Crew

We came home Sunday night instead of Monday morning as planned(E has an ear infection) and that gave us a quiet day at home to nap and clean up. AND, we cooked a delicious salmon dinner.

So that was our whole weekend. Now we have SEVEN more sleeps until we leave for our next camping trip. Better start working on the menu.
