Seriously Cool

We had purchased tickets to see the TerraCotta Warriors at the National Geographic Museum. The kids stayed home with their favourite babysitter and the grown ups went out for some culture. (this first pic is from the NG website because cameras weren't allowed in the exhibit)

At the exhibit was a living statue...he looked just like one of the terracotta warriors. We had our pics taken.

Good Stuff

I never thought that I would one day look forward to cooking up some spinach and onions....but it sure tasted good in our Christmas quiches.

Here's a peek at some of our Christmas dinner food(Dec.26). I made an apple pie and M made a ham-ball(it tastes better than it sounds).
Our turkey....and our company at the table.

We played a little wii after dinner. 'A" fell asleep with Grandpa.

When I was young my dad used to lift me up by the head...some things just never get old...the kids love it.

It was a bit chilly yesterday but we got some outside time in.

Lunch at Fudrckers. yummy.
And tonight.....my dad beat me at Scrbble. I don't often lose so I took a pic to remember the moment.

What's New in the Zoo

Time for a group cuddle.

We took the kids up to an indoor play area and A tried the climbing wall. E was working on his flips.

We had over night family on their way to Florida. Just enough time to get in a game of checkers. And to try on their new home made jaguar p.j.'s.

Grnny brought these funny shirts for the boys.....

The Snow Day

Friday night it started to snow and it didn't stop for 24 hours.

It was a great opportunity for us to get out and enjoy the weather.

But all that sledding made us lazy. So after hot chocolate was made.....
We had a quiet time.

The boys had a rousing game of checkers.
'Tis the season.

The Things We Do

The boys asked me to make Christmas hats for their Wbknz toys many weeks ago and I agreed. Mostly because it seemed a long way off until I had to deliver and I figured they'd forget.....nope.

I completed nine and then ran out of scrap red fabric. E asked me when I was going to do the other ten but unfortunately there won't be time this year.....darn.

MoreSpirit

Going to the airport is fun.....especially when GrandmDrdre is getting off the plane.

We had a great Christmas party with the boys friends today.

Cookie making was the main activity. After the making came the decorating.

There were a couple of presents to pass around.
My boys love a party.
