Week in Review

This cutie turned 12 and had a park/bike/picnic get together.
And the weather cooperated beautifully.

The fabulous new deck made the front door look dated ... so .... crack out the paint!!

Welcome to the front porch.

Build and Box

I was trying to clean up the front porch area and things got a little out of hand.
One thing led to another and next thing I know .... no front stairs. Oops!
Luckily, Grandd had the time and skill to work a building miracle.
Voila! New porch .. new stairs.
Boxing is still E's thing ... his 1st exhibition match is coming up ....
but A is in training for a 15km run in September so he's attending workouts this summer too.

Jump

There are so many reasons to love summer.
One of which, spending time doing nothing outside.

Week in Review

There's been a change to the backyard.
After years of fun, the boys had decidedly outgrown the tree fort.
It's going to take a little tending to get that corner of the yard looking green.
Charlie is helping me make some garden choices.

The boys continue their summer of games, biking and swimming.

Very soon I'll have a picture to show of the miracle Nrm worked with this disaster I created in the front yard.

He Has the Watch

Wondering why we're looking so fancy?

Here's the reason.
M assumed Command of the school today.

Congrats M.
What a great day to share with you.

Same Fun + 1

There are definitely some good sized fish in there. But they avoided our lines, for the most part, today.
So great to have this guy on summer vacation.

Yesterday the weather was just right for a day at the slides.
Go Water park!

the Boy's Pics

Looked through A's camera, came across 2 different pictures of him with turtles.
We've been turkey sitting for the last week.
And the other day we brought him along while we did chores.
Happy July 4th to my American friends.
