The Ham Bone's Connected to the Cheese Bone

This morning when A came down he looked so cute and I told him so and took his picture. Then when I tried to take a pic of E.....the little photo rat wouldn't get out of the way. It was so funny to watch E try to shake his shadow and have his own picture taken. Finally he gave up and let A stay with him.

KidCam

After seeing my nephew's pics from his camera I was inspired to check out what was currently on my own kid's camera. Here are the offerings.

Floats Your Boat

Everyone has something that makes them happy. Most people have more than one thing.
My boys like dogs.....and watching silly videos on the computer(dancing monkeys in this case).

I like clean grout. I have undertaken the master bathroom grout clean-up. See in the left picture how the grout below the line is stained.(I had already done the grout above the line) On the right I have completed that section. Wow, eh?

End of Trip

Here's what we did the last couple of days. Thursday-We went to the market and then back to the park. Friday-We went and visited some friends of Grmpy's and then up to the abandoned town. Then back to the pool for one last swim. On the way back from the abandoned town Grmpy blew his back tire and he and M got to change the tire on the road side. Exciting times.

The boys travelling in the back of the truck in the trailer park. On the way to the ghosttown.

Can't you just hear the cheesy Tombstone music?

It was pretty rustic in those days.

Not much was left of Grmpy's tire. The truck didn't swerve when it blew...just made a lot of noise.
Asleep on the couch. Playing with the animals in front of the trailer.
This is how pools should be. This pool is about 85degrees. Fabulous.

Attack

There is more to update on what we've been doing but I thought I'd let you know that A was attacked by a jumping cactus. It attached to his right hand by a couple of spines and he reflexively grabbed it with his left hand to get it off. Then it was REALLY attached to his left hand. We used a couple of shoes to get it off and thankfully a man was nearby who had a pair of pliers to get the needles out. Very painful. Very traumatic. All is well now. He has a bunch of red spots on his hand but I'm sure they will heal quickly.

We Love Vacation

First up today was the camel farm. I can not tell you how long the boys spent feeding the goats.
Second up, the sand dunes. So far, this is my favourite activity we have done.

About three quarters of the way up the boys little legs got tired and Grmpy took them back down the hill. M and I finished the hike.

Our last activity of the day, not counting our late night swim in the pool, was the smallest church in AZ. A man built it on his land and it is always left unlocked for travellers to stop and pray.

Daddy Can I Please Go To Bed?

That is what we heard from E tonight after we finished dinner. We had a busy day. We visited a popular local restaurant and the kids played a gun game.

Then we went to the YumaHstoricalPrison.

We then visited this amazing park and ALL the kids had a great time.
(Notice in the first photo that M is half up the rockwall.)

We capped off the night with a swim in the pool. Hello from Yuma.
