Sick Ain't Pretty

These are photos from the weekend a much healthier time.

This is A being Suprmn.

But the weekend is over and the boys are not feeling great. They have some kind of flu that has really knocked them on their butts. They don't want to eat or play or do anything other than sit at home and huddle under covers. I hope this passes soon.

Hallelujah the boys are back. I missed those faces on the blog yesterday. They may be feeling sick but they always look great to nana. As we know God has a plan for everything including sickness. Sometimes He has to stop us in our tracks (even children). Why? because it gives parents that time to snuggle and hold their children as they draw on us for that extra "tender loving care." Even being sick can turn into "special moments." On a good day children are far too busy for "that kind of stuff." So having sick kids can certainly be a blessing (although we don't want to hold them there for too long). As with everything, it is all in God's prefect timing! So although it can be tough on moms, it is a time when our children draw on us with special needs and we get blessed by filling them.

God bless you Johanna as you minister that love to your children (our precious angels).

Blessings,
Love mom/nana
