M took the lead and got the kids pumpkin carving last night.

It was a late night but well worth it!!

The school Hallwen party was today. E could not have been more excited. I don't think his feet touched the ground all afternoon. (Good call Nana. Thank God you are older and wiser.)



E was ecstatic that he was the only pumpkin there.----This puppy made me laugh.---

A New Thing

E asked me the other day if I would take the training wheels off his bike. So I obliged. We tried today for the first time and he was awesome. He needs some steadying when he first starts but then he's off!!

We started off on the grass and then moved to the gravel path. He can go way too fast now.

Great Day

We arrived at the Chatham residence. A beautiful plantation that played a major role during the Civil War.

It was beautiful inside and out. And had been redone nicely after being ravaged during the war.

The kids wanted to touch the hay bales. Picture postcard perfect.

We decided to be statues.

We were intending to be home for dinner but we didn't quite make it. So we stopped for something to eat.

I was talking with A the other evening and he said that his room in this house wasn't good like his room in Ottwa. I realized that we had lost energy for decorating and the boy's room didn't get finished. So today A and I tackled the job. We hung back up all of the great things from their room before. He is very excited about it. I can't wait until E sees it after school.

Impromptu

Grnny bought the boys these wonderful bibles. Their names are engraved on the fronts of them. I think they will really enjoy them as they get older and older.
