Later that afternoon A went to a birthday for one of the girls in his class.
Unfortunately, E is now sick. He woke up last night at 11 with an earache that I just couldn't tame. After a long, painful, teary, sleepless night we took him to see a dr. today. She gave him meds but they won't kick in until tomorrow. He has been asleep for several hours now poor little fella.

It must be a lot warmer in Washington because there is no way we could have a pool party here in the Canadian Capital.
Wow.... we go from getting a medal, to a party surrounded by girls, to being down and out.
No matter what is happening in the Barefoot family the boys are always adorable. Every picture tells a wonderful story and we get to share in it with having the blog. Life is beautiful.
