I went to check out a new second hand store that just opened and snagged this great purse for $5.

On the advice of my sister-in-law (that's you Elzabeth) I have let the livingroom go to the kids. While I was bemoaning it's messiness the other day she suggested that we probably have enough 'adult' spaces in our house and that maybe it would be fair to let the kids have this one area.

wii, computer, tv and the kitchen... I'd say this is a perfect place for the boys to camp out....

that sounds like a great idea, and makes complete sense to me. The boys will not have far to go to do the dishes.....Grampy Peter

I just turned our living room into a parlor. That means "no boys or boy toys allowed". I just need one room in the house that doesn't have a trail of disaster in it. They have their rooms and all of downstairs to inhabit. Those rooms are horribly messy (this is the part where I hang my head in shame; it's also the part where I go to the parlor, take a few deep breaths in a beautiful room and tell myself everything will be OK.) All that to say that I can relate to boys and their messes and the difficulty it can be for mamas who like tidiness.
