These guinea pigs are just babies....but they are quickly becoming accustomed to the semi-charmed life as a pet of our family.

While the cat's away....the mice sleep with me. Not such a problem except that the whirling ninja in the striped top makes 360 degree turns during the night. I got out of bed to snap his pic. He's only completed about a 45 degree rotation at this point.

This was the pit of sickness. When we all three were sick with noro this week we basically hunkered down. We had everything we needed...laptop, pillows and blankets.
I'm noticing now that there was quite an interesting mix of blanket patterns on the bed (checkers, plaid, stripes, zig zags) ...maybe that's what was making us all so nauseous. Seriously though, that's what happens when all your A-team linen goes in the wash at one time...out comes the mix-n-match.
