Feeling the Love

We are definitely feeling welcomed back here in Canada. And then this morning we arrived at the house early before the unloaders came and look who was in our backyard! A cardinal. This is the official state bird of Virginia.
I wonder...did he fly all the way up here just to make us feel better?

I love Cardinals. I have not seen many here (Ottawa-Renfrew) but Jenn and Aaron have them in their yard. You will have to find out what attracts them and promote these birds to your yard.
