I would like to publicly apologize to my mother for having pushed the shopping cart into her heels countless times. If it makes you feel better mom, my heels are now permanently scarred as a result of all the 'help' I get pushing the cart.

This guy is learning how to ride his bike without the training wheels. It's a process.

This kid is a cycling pro. But look at those red cheeks. It has been so hot here!!

They rode their bikes to the grocery store this a.m. and on the way we found a bird on the path. It did not have any visible injuries but was not able to fly very high or far. And it let the kids pick it up! It even tried to hitch a ride on A's helmet. We decided it was at risk of being eaten by a cat so we moved it to the top of a wall nearby.

oh yes, I remember the "heal strikes" from little girls helping Mom push the shopping cart. Your foot will heal and you can take great comfort that someday your boys will post an apology like this one... I just did. :-)
Love you
MOM
