My that is impressive. While visiting VA Beach this weekend we visited the USSWisconsin and affiliated museum.

You have to be 10years old to do the indepth tour so the kids and I hit the exhibits while M did the tour.

So tha-a-a-a-at's what a typewriter is.....

This is the biggest eel I have ever seen. The staff there told us he was really old.

We touched this guy.

This was by far their favourite part.

This was not my favourite part.

The real reason we drove down was to visit friends. We met these people back in Oct2009.
Saw them again later that year.
Then it was almost another year before our next visit.

We were lucky to see them one more time before we head North.

They took us to see the funniest ducks they have wandering their neighbourhood. I googled when I got home. They are called Muscovy Ducks....or scoby ducks for short. Not a normal species for that area.


And we swam in their pool, and chased fireflies, and ate pizza, and had a great time.
