Flashback

Just noticed when I was putting these pictures on here that they were taken 5 years and 3 days ago!

This morning I had plans to teach. But the kids were in the mood to experiment. I found them in the kitchen. Shirts off. First they were playing with the LEGO torpedo underwater. Then they decided to try and create a whirlpool.

Just so you don't think that there was no learning going on....the torpedo experiment gave us a chance to talk about energy lost from the drag of the water and the power of gravity. If you have 5 minutes to waste, I posted a video of the kids and their first whirlpool success.
(The action starts around 4min25sec) http://youtu.be/OnLoashp2pE

And since they are busy doing what they are doing I'm going to get busy dealing with this mess.

Love love the pictures. Making whirlpools sounds like a blast.

WOW...those "flashback pics" are amazing. I seem to remember that while we were having a winter getaway weekend, that M and J were almost in the identical positions over the kitchen sink, AMAZING...however M and J were doing dishes......I should have had a video...Love to all...Grampy Peter
