We finished our unit on Nigeria today. This is our learning board where we kept track of things we learned about Nigeria. Also at the bottom the kids played with facial markings of a Nigerian tribe and also made up their own for our family 'tribe'.

We made a counting book with all things Nigerian. Donkeys, camels, huts, beans, trees, hills, water jars ....you get the idea.

Poor E. At dinner tonight I decided we needed to work on his table etiquette. Specifically, the proximity of his face to his plate. So every time he started to lean in for a bite/hoover I would make a really annoying mom-like noise. You know the noise - eh eh eh eh. By the end of the meal he looked stunned. He's a trooper though.

And then I tried to sneak up and get a pic of them sleeping tonight. But they weren't asleep!! So I made them fake it. Don't be fooled. These boys are still wide awake.

You are such a cool teacher! What a great idea for the boys to learn about Nigeria. Looks like a lot of fun!
