The weather started off a bit sketchy but it cleared up.
I read on another homeschooler's blog about listening and doing. While I read.....they draw what comes to mind. Below is the poem that I read the boys....several times.
These are the pics that they drew. It definitely helped maintain their attention. I will try it next time on some non-fiction.
We managed to squeeze a little park time in today. (While someone was walking through the house with a real estate agent.)
It was threatening to storm but the boys stayed until the last possible second.
