Day 10-The Jolly Postman

The Jolly Postman by J&A Ahlberg

     You really need to have some time set aside when you pull this precious book out. It follows an endearing postman as he delivers several letters to well known members of fairy tale land. When he arrives at those houses you can open the little letters and read them. It's funny and silly but I'm serious about the setting aside some time thing. There is no way to read this book in a rush. In my experience, each little letter has to be read and reread and the illustrations examined in depth each time.
